Labor Day Schedule, new classes and more!

Labor Day Special Schedule at ODC

Labor Day weekend is coming! If you're around over the long weekend, we hope to see you in class!

All classes will follow our regular schedule on Saturday and Sunday, with a special schedule for Labor Day on Monday 9/1. All classes will be in the morning, as ODC closes at 3pm.

New R&M Classes starting this Fall!

Get excited for two new classes on the schedule this fall at ODC and Berkeley Ballet Theater.

  • Rhythm & Motion Modern Essentials with Yayoi Kambara
    Fridays, 12pm-1:15pm at ODC 
    Starting September 5

    Get an invigorating dance workout while going deeper into the steps and fundamentals of Rhythm & Motion Modern choreography - ideal for new and experienced students looking for a more modern and contemporary dance influenced class.
     

  • Rhythm & Motion Fusion with Jess Bozzo 
    Wednesdays, 9am-10am at Berkeley Ballet Theater 
    Starting September 10

    Balancing the challenge of learning choreography and movement techniques with the dance-floor euphoria of a good party, the (mostly) follow-along class format starts with a well-balanced warm-up and leads to high energy stamina and strength building choreography.

Price Increase at ODC

Starting September 1, classes at ODC, including all Rhythm & Motion classes, purchased with a credit or debit card will increase by $1. This price adjustment will help offset rising card processing fees while allowing us to continue offering the classes in a studio space we know and love. (Cash and check purchases will not be affected.) We’re so grateful for your continued support, which makes everything we do possible!

Dance Outdoors with Rhythm & Motion!

Great news! We're still offering outdoor Rhythm & Motion classes free to the public thanks to the generosity of Noe Valley Town Square Association and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival.

Dance with us in the beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens Wednesdays at noon for our final three outdoor YBG classes for 2025: September 10, 24 and October 1.

Join us for our last outdoor class of the season on Saturday, October 18 at 4pm in Noe Valley Town Square (no class in September).

Best of all, these classes are FREE and no pre-registration is needed. Just come and enjoy!
