Join Dancers’ Group and Rhythm & Motion and kickoff Bay Area Dance Week with a family-friendly community celebration at 12 noon on Friday, April 24 at Jessie Square across from the beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens. Rhythm & Motion will lead One Dance, a routine designed for all participants to perform together. No experience required and everyone is welcome!

FREE OUTDOOR CLASS THIS SATURDAY IN NOE VALLEY
We can't wait to celebrate this gorgeous weather with you THIS SATURDAY, March 21 at 4pm for our first free monthly outdoor class of 2026 in the beautiful Noe Valley Town Square. Wear your sneakers and your smiles and be ready for a joyful celebration of dance in community in our marvelous city.
For weekday dancers looking for some lunch break booty-shaking, our free weekly Wednesday classes at the Yerba Buena Gardens in the heart of San Francisco will begin Wednesday, April 1!
INSTRUCTOR PERFORMANCES
Come out to support instructor Nehemiah Aldrich in Sunday Funday Drag Brunch at the Detour, March 22 at 12 noon. We’re bringing the madness this March, as our chaotic comedienne Fran Zaya hosts an afternoon of drag like you’ve never seen before. The Bay Area Diva herself, Amoura Teese, brings her sickening moves and stunning vocals to The Detour for the first time. San Francisco’s biggest disaster Loma Prietta is back and she will have the whole room shaking. The dancing chanteuse Michellyn Starr (psst, that's Nehemiah!) will have you seeing stars when she hits the dance floor. And rounding out the cast is our tip kitten Fullout Fritzie, who always takes us fully out of this world!

Don't miss out seeing instructor Eyla Moore dancing with Afro-Peruvian group Cunamacué, in the 20th Annual CubaCaribe Festival of Dance & Music at ODC Theater, April 10 - 12.
A mixed program of six diverse pieces that were chosen based on their artistry and impact from past festival performances over the last 20 years by artistic director Ramón Ramos Alayo and executive director Jamaica Itule Simmons.

Catch R&M Director Dudley Flores, teachers Katie Clay, Aimee Rose and Clara Adams and other amazing R&M dancers in our community in SF Carnaval's Grand Parade on Sunday, May 24. San Francisco Carnaval is the largest multicultural festival in the West Coast, bringing together San Francisco's Latino, Caribbean and African Diasporic traditions.
