Free DANCE DAY at Yerba Buena Gardens - this Sunday!
We're bringing some of the Bay Area’s finest teachers and dancers together to move…and this includes YOU!
With the belief that ANYONE CAN DANCE, Rhythm & Motion and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival present Dance Day - a full day of high energy classes and nonstop good vibes. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer, dance-curious, or brand new to movement, this is your chance to sample a variety of dance styles taught by some of the Bay’s most dynamic and welcoming instructors in Bachata, Afro Contemporary, Salsa on 2, Soul Line Dance, Afro Brazilian, Jazz Funk, Bollywood Fusion, Rhythm & Motion and more. All for FREE!
No experience needed - everyone is welcome! Come for an hour or stay the full day. Bring comfortable shoes, a water bottle, your curiosity for movement, and a buddy... cause dancing and trying something new is always more fun with a friend. :)

Craving even MORE dance in an outdoor setting? Yerba Buena Gardens ChoreoFest 2025 returns for two Saturdays—July 19 & 26—transforming the Gardens’ open spaces into a stage for the Bay Area’s vibrant, diverse dance scene.
From queer bachata to Cambodian classical, South Asian drag to contemporary hip-hop, this site-specific festival celebrates extravagant creativity in motion. Co-curated by David Herrera of David Herrera Performance Company and Ashley Gayle of PUSH Dance Company, the seventh annual YBG ChoreoFest features extraordinary new work performed throughout Yerba Buena Gardens’ lawns and architecture.
