Join us for One Dance, the celebratory flash mob-style kick-off event for Bay Area Dance Week - Friday, April 24 at 12pm at Jessie Square, across from the beautiful Yerba Buena Gardens. Then stick around and join Oakland treasure Chocolate Platinum for an extra-special 30-minute Soul Line Dance class*.

This annual event, a cornerstone of the Bay Area dance community, offers the public the opportunity to experience the region's vibrant and diverse dance scene - all for free!

YBG DANCE DAY IN HONOR OF CONSUELO FAUST
In partnership with the Yerba Buena Gardens Festival, this year’s free Dance Day event at Yerba Buena Gardens on October 11 will serve as a heartfelt celebration of the life and legacy of Consuelo Faust, founder of Rhythm & Motion. In the spirit of her belief that anyone can dance, the day will feature free, all-level dance classes, live music, and a special music and dance performance honoring her vision and the extraordinary dance community she loved and cultivated.
INSTRUCTOR PERFORMANCES
Catch R&M Director Dudley Flores, and teachers Aimee Rose, Katie Clay, Clara Adams and many other R&M dancers from our community in SF Carnaval's Grand Parade on Sunday, May 24. San Francisco Carnaval is the largest multicultural festival in the West Coast, bringing together San Francisco's Latino, Caribbean and African Diasporic traditions.
