Who we are seeking

We are looking for a Business Operations Manager to work in our home office at the ODC Dance Commons in San Francisco. Key responsibilities include day-to-day operations of the company, financial reporting and projections, overseeing and fostering business and licensing arrangements with partnering studios, and the development and implementation of company’s strategic plan. This position would entail close collaboration with our Director and a small staff of support personnel. There would also be interface with staff of ODC, our partner organization in our home studio.

Job Description

° Financial Responsibilities: Budget preparation, forecasting, financial modeling, and fiscal oversight of daily operations.

° Analysis: Market analysIs and strategies for our home office/business and our partner studios (outside of San Francisco).

° Management: Review and revise contracts for collaborations, performance, and compliance company-wide.

° Marketing and Promotion: Coordination of marketing materials and content, website maintenance, and sales of merchandise and services.

° Growth: Coordinate outreach opportunities and partnerships, develop business plans, market analysis, and budgets.

° Outreach: Coordination and support of community outreach events.

Required Skills & Experience

° Business Experience: Demonstrated expertise in business management, marketing, and promotion.

° Leadership: A clear understanding of our business and our mission, rapport with our faculty and clients, and an ability to work closely and collaboratively with our team.

° Computer Skills: Quickbooks, MS Office, Google Drive, and familiarity with programs for website maintenance, social media, and business tracking.

° Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people, including students, teachers, staff, the business community, and the community at large.

° Outlook: An understanding and appreciation of dance and its place in art, culture, and community.
