Eyla Moore (she/her)
Eyla Moore grew up in the Bay Area playing music & dancing. Eyla is a proud Mama to Myles and wife to David. She holds a B.A. in Dance: Performance & Choreography (2009) from SFSU & won the title of Queen of SF Carnaval in 2011. Eyla is also a Certified Dunham Technique and Pilates Instructor who loves music and dance from all over the world but especially from the African diaspora.
Eyla loves teaching and taking Rhythm & Motion because of the freedom of movement expression it fosters in herself and in her students! Eyla is always up for a challenge and R&M provides a physical challenge each and every time that is so satisfying, uplifting and centering! Plus it’s an outlet for her to perform as she hasn’t been doing as much of that since becoming a mother six years ago! Eyla’s teaching style is high energy and she loves to incorporate comedy and silliness. You’ll likely laugh a lot in Eyla’s class!
