Elizabeth Muller (Liz) (she/her)

Elizabeth Muller (Liz) has been dancing since as far back as she can remember. She primarily trained in jazz technique with a strong ballet foundation. In her 20s she fell in love with a professional Salsa dancer and performed with him for 8 years. She later moved into Contemporary and Modern Dance with Copious Dance Theater and High Release Dance Company. In 2017 she discovered Rhythm and Motion at Berkeley Ballet Theater - with the amazing Rena and Eyla.

Liz believes that dance is the perfect release for a high-stress career, and she is better at her work when she is actively dancing. She is the Co-founder and CEO of the growing nuclear waste disposal startup company Deep Isolation. Liz believes that if we’re going to address climate change, we need nuclear power – which requires nuclear waste disposal. She was also the Co-founder and Executive Director of the environmental non-profit Berkeley Earth.

Liz lives in Berkeley with her husband (the professional salsa dancer) and two children. Her daughter also dances, and you may occasionally see her at a Rhythm and Motion class. Her son, for now, only dances on the soccer field (and occasionally when he thinks nobody is watching). Liz invites you to join her class for joy, love, and connection through movement.
