Dance with us at The Women's Building in San Francisco!

[Rhythm & Motion also offers classes at ODC Dance Commons in San Francisco. Learn more]

Founded in 1971, The Women’s Building is a women-led community space that advocates self-determination, gender equality and social justice. The organization moved into its current space in 1979, and in 1980 Rhythm & Motion began offering dance workout classes there.

Over its history, The Women’s Building has sponsored more than 170 organizations—many growing into established non-profits. Today, The Women’s Building is an anchor institution in San Francisco’s ever-changing Mission District, welcoming 25,000 clients and visitors each year for in-house programs and wellness classes (like Rhythm & Motion!), access to social services, and to volunteer, hold celebrations, and deepen community connections.

Classes are currently offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:00-7:00 pm with instructor Ken Scott. We recommend that you wear supportive shoes, and bring a mat if you are uncomfortable stretching or sitting on the auditorium floor.

You may pay for class on site in cash at the $15 drop-in rate (sorry, credit card sales are not possible at this location), or deduct a class from your ODC Dance Commons multi-class pack.
