Sarah Ruppel Bullis, VA

Sarah began her dance studies in Maryland at the age of four with Ballet Theatre of Maryland and later at the Kirov Academy and Washington School of Ballet. After graduating high school, she studied in the B.F.A program of the College Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati for one year and then was invited to train with Edward Ellison in New York City. She joined the Richmond Ballet as a trainee and later enjoyed a professional career with the Sarasota Ballet of Florida. Sarah began her professional teaching career in 2010 with the Richmond Ballet, where she currently teaches as a full time faculty member in the children's and lower division, adult ballet division, and Rhythm and Motion program. She additionally teaches numerous other creative movement and barre fitness classes around the Richmond community and continues to perform ballet independently.
