Esme Kundanis-Grow, SF
Esme is a San Francisco-based performer, choreographer and dance teacher. A graduate from the University of Colorado at Boulder's BFA Dance Program, Esme began teaching Rhythm & Motion in 2011. Her dance background is a blend of various styles including: modern, release, improvisation, West African, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. She has performed and collaborated in numerous productions in San Francisco, Brooklyn, Chicago, and the Greater Denver Area with companies including Liz Tenuto/Dance and a Half, Pearl Marill/Modern on Command, and Mix'd Ingrdnts, and artists Sara Du|Jour, Macklin Kowal, Christine Bonansea, and Sara Shelton Mann, among others. A passionate and fiery mover, she brings a strong energetic presence to her classes and focuses her teaching on opening, releasing, and letting the spirit fly high.
