Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout
at the Bakar Fitness Center!

Have you ever been at the ODC Commons and heard the music thumpin' and the folks a hollerin'! Those are the happy sounds of a Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout class; a high-energy, musically inspired,

dance-based workout.

SF Weekly named our R&M Dance Workout San Francisco's Best Dance/Exercise class in 2006, stating "these carefully structured one-hour classes stimulate the body and raise the spirit way above that of a dull exercise class."

What differentiates R&M's dance workout from other workout programs? The choreography is drawn from a broad range of movement styles, including hip hop, jazz, African dance, contemporary, Latin dance, martial arts, and yoga, and is inspired by an eclectic mix of international and popular music. The classes are taught by well known Bay Area dancers, choreographers, and performers.

Rhythm & Motion Dance Workout develops fitness through dance and creative self-expression. Most important, these classes are FUN!

Classes are offered 365 days a year at ODC Dance Commons!

Bakar Fitness Center at UCSF Mission Bay

2 TIMES A WEEK with instructor ELIZABETH SOBERANES!!

Thursdays 6:30pm-7:30pm (starting April 3rd)

Saturdays 10:45am-11:45am

Regular ODC Dance Commons class passes are not accepted at this location.  But, for a $15 drop-in fee, you can take class AND take full advantage of all the facilities, including: a sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, raquetball, gymnasium, weight and cardio machines and more!  We are excited to teach at this gem of a facility in Mission Bay, and hope you can join us for class!

The Bakar Fitness Center is located at 1675 Owens St. San Francisco - minutes away from AT&T Park and public transportation.
